Ronald George Tadano
Tadano, Ronald George 57, passed away on May 8, 2012
in Phoenix, AZ surrounded by his family and friends. He has
lived in Arizona for over 56 years. He was born on July 26, 1954
in Harlingen, TX to George and Rena Tadano. He attended Maryvale
high school and was voted "Most Charismatic" in his class. He
worked as a robotic camera operator with CBS and other
television networks and has won several
Emmy awards for his work in filming various Superbowl and
Masters events. Ronnie loved to fish and held a state record for
10 years for a walleye that he caught at Canyon Lake. He loved
his black corvette, gardening, cooking, and music. He was also a
huge sky diving enthusiast in his younger years. His family
describes him as a huge practical joker and has video and
pictures to prove it. Most important of all Ronnie loved his
family and friends and they will miss him greatly. Lastly,
Ronnie was very proud of the fact that after being diagnosed
with terminal liver cancer in 2008 he was cancer free one year
later. He accomplished this through in depth research and as a
personal mission to find an alternative treatment that
challenged Western medical practices. Despite constant doubt and
assurance from doctors that the method he was pursuing would
lead to certain death, Ronnie would be happy to declare that he
died cancer free. He would want others to be aware of his
success and the possibility of other forms of cancer treatments
available. He is survived by his girlfriend Linda, children;
Kristal, James, and Kendall Tadano, and Olivia Williams
(Sterling), brother Charlie Tadano, sister Peggy Hewitt and
mother Rena Tadano. Memorial services will be private. To share
