The Wallace and Ladmo Show, was a part of my daily routine all of the 35 years it was on the air from 1954 to 1989. It was a children's show on KPHO-TV5 in Phoenix with three regulars;  Wallboy (Bill Thompson) the host and Ladmo (Ladimir Kwiatkowski) the comic, plus Gerald (Pat McMahon) who played a dozen different characters.

Ladmo died of cancer in 1994. The fan site has several newspaper articles written about Ladmo about the time he died. I personally recall the day in 1988 when my 6-year-old's birthday party at Chuck E Cheese pizza parlor was hosted by Ladmo and Jody. It was an extra special day when Ladmo recognized my Dad and jumped down from the stage to run across the room to greet his old golf partner. My daughter beamed with pride to learn her Grandpa knew Ladmo personally! 

Pat McMahon still does a daily tv talk show, now very grownup topics. He is one of the most highly recognized personalities in Phoenix from his lifelong career in the local media.

Bill Thompson is still so loved by his fans they flock to his appearance and book signings. I have been very lucky to be invited to his regular Friday lunches where about 20 friends and a few invited guests entertain and share stories. Sandy Gibbons plays host and emcee as the guest include people like Marshall Trimble, Dan Horn, Jana Boomersbach, Dolan Ellis, Dan Harkins, Gary West, Mayor Gordon,  and so many more. the speeches are usually limited to about 5 minutes and mostly we just chat over lunch.
